On Saturday 21st January I had the pleasure of performing at the White Hart Pub in Denby Dale. A very local venue for me as I live in the village and it was great to support Claire and Drew (the new owners) on their food menu launch and meet and greet evening. From the moment I walked into the venue I knew it was going to be a great gig when I saw everyone sat their having a great time with their families. Families are the best people to perform to as the majority of parents get real enjoyment out of the magic as well as seeing their childrens reactions to it!
I had a great time performing to all of the local residents that I do see around the village on a regular basis and to show them what I do when it comes to magic was a great experience for me. Everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time and the overall feel for the evening was great! I was working well with the live band Eclectic Experience that seemed to enjoy the evening as much as me! Some lovely food such as Pies and Yorkshire Puddings were coming out of the kitchen from The White Harts new food menu which smelt amazing!
All in all it was a fantastic evening and was a pleasure to be part of it! To show some Close-Up Magic to the people living in the heart of Denby Dale was a great experience for me and to be known as the village magician as some people call me is a great name to have! Thanks to everyone for being there at The White Hart on Saturday and I will see you all again soon!
Special thanks to Izzy! (You get the best spectator award) I hope you had as much fun as I did!
